MEDIA MANAGEMENT USE CASES

The Use Cases assembled in this document are a series of behavioral Use Cases for Stream Search ’s Actors as they apply to the Media Management Process.Each Use Case details a series of actions that define a relationship within the system. Several of these Use Cases are interdependent,as noted in the Related Use Cases section.Please note that each Use Case ’s actor(s)are the current departments that have access and are expected to perform the activity.A set of system Use Case Studies are being prepared internally at rare that deals with the proposed system’s actions in the workflow.

1.0 Account Administration

The Use Cases in the Account Administration section are mostly outside of the scope of our proposed workflow solution for Media Management, but included for the purposes of clarity and comprehensiveness.

 

1.1 Create Account

Description:

Actor creates an account by entering specified client business,contact,and billing information

Actors:

Biz Dev

Goals:

To begin an accurate client record for the purposes of billing,contact,and client relationship management

Preconditions:

An account has not yet been created

Post conditions:

An account has been created

Basic Flow:

1.1.Create Account

1.1.1 Actor indicates to the system that they are ready to create a new account

1.1.2 System presents standard account entry fields

1.1.3 Actor enters the account information

1.1.4 System saves the entered account information

1.1.5 System indicates that account entry was successful

Exception Flows:

E-1.1.1 Missing Information

E-1.1.1.1 Actor does not enter all required basic account information

E-1.1.1.2 System redirects Actor to account entry fields with a required indicator next to required information

E-1.1.1.3 Previously entered information is retained

E-1.1.2 Incorrect information

E-1.1.2.1 Actor enters account information incorrectly

1.2 Modify Account

Description:

Any changes in client account information,such as billing or contact info,are entered into the system

Actors:

Biz Dev,Product Mgmt

Goals:

To maintain an accurate client record for the purposes of billing,contact,and client relationship management

Preconditions:

An account has previously been entered

Post conditions:

Account information has been changed

1.1 Create Account

Basic Flow:

1.2 Modify Account

1.2.1 The Actor indicates to the system which account (s)he wishes to modify

2.2.2 The system presents a list of client accounts

1.2.3 The actor selects the account to edit from the list

1.2.4 The system presents the existing account information

1.2.5 The actor makes the desired changes to the existing account information

1.2.6 The system verifies the changes made to the account

1.2.7 The system saves the changes made to the account
