To best serve Ortel's corporate goals, Evit was commissioned to create a Web site that would improve Ortel's image, enhance customer satisfaction, and increase the efficiency of its internal functions.

The resulting site was remarkable in that it presented product and company information in both Chinese and English, with data pulled into common templates from the database appropriate to the end-user's choices. Ortel was subsequently acquired by Lucent Technologies and the site is no longer available for viewing.
